The Carbostick 5B CT is, by design, heavier on the front end and thus, possesses more rebound (and a little less control) compared to a 5A or 7A model drumstick. The diameter of the Carbostick 5B CT drumstick is 15.1mm and has a thicker girth than a 5A or 7A model drumstick. The 5B CT drumstick is an “acquired taste” for more advanced drummers because the 5B produces larger and more frequent rebounds.
